When we think of traditional heating methods, what comes to mind is that directly heating air is subject to thermodynamics, which means that the heated air is directed upwards. Installing conventional radiators and heaters on the ceiling would therefore make no sense. Such a heating system would be neither effective nor efficient.
The situation is different with infrared heating panels – here we deal with questions of quantum physics. Infrared panels emit wave heat (electromagnetic wave) that propagates forward from the panel. In this way it reaches objects, walls and other solid objects and converts energy into heat. This means that installing panels on the ceiling is not only possible, but also highly recommended. Why? The heat is transferred from the ceiling to the floor and walls, increasing the temperature of the floor for maximum comfort of our feet.
